Website Account Manager

Job Summary:
Hello Innovation is seeking a Website Account Manager to act as a liaison between an assigned set of clients and our internal resources. The Website Account Manager will work our clients to understand their website and online marketing needs while providing expert guidance and consulting based on the latest website design and online marketing best practices. This position is not just an “order taker;” you must ensure that clients don’t only get what they are looking for in a website, but most importantly, get the solution that’s the best for their business and helps meet their goals.

The Website Account Manager is also responsible for communicating tasks with the website production manager via our project management program (JIRA).

If you think this role is padded with layers of processes and corporate structure, this isn’t the position for you. Our Web Account Manager will need to have a proactive approach, work hard, be flexible, never let anything slip, and take personal responsibility for the client accounts in which they are assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with clients to discuss and identify their website requirements and objectives while managing expectations
  • Ensure client feedback and concerns are handled proactively and efficiently
  • Provide recommendations to clients utilizing expert knowledge on website design and online marketing strategy with a forward-thinking mindset to help drive their business forward
  • Plan, manage, and lead all client meetings and presentations (typically webinars and conference calls)
  • Lead project management activity for client accounts
  • Ensure that clients’ goals are communicated and adhered to in production, while contributing your point of view openly and honestly
  • Build strong client relationships with regular, proactive, value-added communication, while seeking new business opportunities in effort to grow the account

Experience Guidelines:

  • 2+ years managing client accounts (web projects are preferred)
  • Proven track record managing web projects from inception to launch.
  • Understanding of website best practices, development, and online marketing.
  • General knowledge of business, marketing, and technology fields.
  • Ability to break a project down, assign, and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with both team members and clients alike.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Detail oriented, technical proficiency, aptitude for learning new things quickly.

Education:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is required.
